Big changes to the Netflix interface

Both on TV and mobile, Netflix navigation will soon undergo a major overhaul, making it even easier to find new things to watch.

Netflix recently unveiled its new interface, which will be rolled out in the coming weeks and months. On the TV version, the side menu disappears in favor of navigation via a horizontal bar at the top of the screen, like some competitors.

Netflix, new interface for easier content discovery££££

Among the platform's objectives, the easier discovery of new content, for example, with mentions on series and films to indicate whether they have received awards such as Emmy Awards, or if they are appreciated by other users. The shortcuts to Search and My List are also more visible and accessible, and the recommendations are even more adapted to your tastes.

Netflix with embedded generative AI££££

For the mobile version, generative AI is being tested on iOS devices, with a search function allowing you to make more natural queries, for example by entering the query: "I'm looking for something funny and rhythmic". Also being tested is a vertical content feed with extracts from Netflix content, which you can click on to watch them immediately, add them to your list, or share them with your friends.
