The Neo QLED Ultra HD 4K Q60D 2024 TV series includes six references: Samsung TQ43Q60D (43'', 109 cm), Samsung TQ503Q60D (50'', 127 cm), Samsung TQ55Q60D (55'', 140 cm), Samsung TQ65Q60D (65'', 165 cm), Samsung TQ75Q60D (75'', 191 cm) and Samsung TQ85Q60D (85'', 216 cm).
Samsung Q60D, what specifications?££££
As with most Samsung 2024 TV series, we do not yet have all the technical characteristics of the Q60D televisions, but it will not be long. These should be close to those of the Q60C references. However, we know that the LCD panels are 60 Hz, always associated with an Edge Local Dimming LED backlighting system and the Dual LED process.
Samsung Q60D: LED 5,000°K + LED 20,000°K££££
The idea of the Korean engineers is to mix two kinds of diodes in the backlighting system, the first displaying a temperature of color of 5,000°K and the others 20,000°K, allowing significant variations in shades (cold or warm) to better correspond to the nature of the image displayed. Thus, these TVs are able to adapt easily and efficiently to the different contents appearing on the screen.
Samsung Q60D, improvement of contrasts and colors££££
The manufacturer's representatives claim that this technique helps prevent light leaks, which improves the contrast ratio in Cinema mode by 27% compared to classic LED diffusers. Not to mention increased accuracy of colors displayed with greater density and an improved viewing angle. Without being wider, the latter would offer better readability at the same angle. All powered by the NQ4 Gen2 processor (24 Deep Learning modules). Check back later for more details.
While waiting to return to the equipment of the Samsung Q60D TVs planned in stores in April, their indicative prices are now known: €699 for the Samsung TQ43Q60D, €799 for the Samsung TQ50Q60D, €899 € for the Samsung TQ55Q60D, €1,099 for the Samsung TQ65Q60D, €1,599 for the Samsung TQ75Q60D and €2,199 for the Samsung TQ85Q60D.
