Apple reminds us that its Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset is compatible with three video formats:
• 2D films and series broadcast on a virtual screen
• 3D films and series on a virtual screen , with HFR (High Frame Rate) for the first time
• Apple Immersive Video videos, in 3D in an environment completely surrounding the user
Apple Vision Pro, 4 videos and 1 application compatible with 3D 8K at launch££££
It is naturally this last format that Apple wishes to highlight, calling it "the future of leisure”, and at launch four videos and an application will be compatible. These are Prehistoric Planet Immersive, Wild Life, Adventure, Alicia Keys: Rehearsal Room, and the interactive experience Encounter Dinosaurs created with Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Mandalorian).

« Apple Immersive Video is a new entertainment format developed by Apple that transports viewers into the heart of a story with 180-degree 8K 3D recordings captured with audio space” explains Apple. Note that the Apple Vision Pro is equipped with two Micro LED screens with a resolution of just over 4K per eye (hence, undoubtedly, the 8K designation of content by Apple).
