The writers of The Boys and Gen V got together
As series creator Eric Kripke has just clarified, the editing of this new season is practically finished, only the music and special effects remain to be finalized. These two posters therefore mark the very first promotional material available for season 4 of The Boys.
No official synopsis has yet filtered even if the consequences of the final battle of season 3 between Butcher, Homelander and Soldier Boy, among others, should occupy the beginning of season 4. Note that the writers of Gen V and The Boys season 4 have coordinated to avoid consistency issues between the two series, and ensure that the universe of The Boys and Gen V correspond. Season 4 of the original series is expected in 2024 on Prime Video.
