A restored version of Michael Powell's film, The Peeping Tom, announced in 4K

A film that has become cult over the years, cherished by directors like Brian De Palma and Martin Scorsese, The Voyeur has finally benefited from a remastering worthy of the name. 4K release imminent.

In 1960, Michael Powell, the director of Red Slippers and Black Narcissus, made his strangest and undoubtedly most personal film: Peeping Tom, a sort of arty slasher before its time, including the release undoubtedly suffers from the concomitant release of another equally disturbing and horrifying masterpiece, Psycho.

On January 29, a 4K version of this film, which has become cult, will finally be released in Great Britain with the years. The first to mention snuff movies! A French galette should follow, still at Studiocanal. We'll keep you posted.
