Denon PerL Pro, new True Wireless APT-X Lossless headphones

In addition to the Denon PerL True Wireless headphones, the manufacturer also presented the Denon PerL Pro True Wireless headphones, an advanced version of the first named. Presentation.

Big brothers of the PerL already presented in our pages (see our news Denon PerL, new True Wireless headphones), the True Wireless PerL Pro in-ear headphones from Denon have numerous developments.

Denon PerL Pro, the main developments compared to the Denon PerL

In the game of seven differences, we notice that the Denon PerL Pro are Bluetooth 5.3 models (Bluetooth 5.0 on the PerL) and, above all, compatible with the Qualcomm APT-X Lossless codec. The latter, according to its creator, offers a perfect “bit-or-bit” conversion, therefore without loss, despite a speed limited to 1,000 kbp/s… To be checked. Another advantage of the Denon PerL Pro is the Dirac Virtuo certification allowing you to enjoy Spatial Audio music files, a multipoint connection (two), longer battery life and faster charging time (see below), four microphones in each earphone including two dedicated to bone conduction for perfect clarity of your voice during phone calls.

Denon PerL Pro, audio profile adapted to your ear

Of course, the Denon PerL Pro still take advantage of Masimo AAT (Adaptive Acoustic Technology) technology allowing users to create a personal audio profile, that is to say adapted to their ear, in order to optimize the sound quality of the headset, based on the pragmatic principle that hearing varies from one person to another. In detail, the headphones measure the faint otoacoustic emissions produced by the inner ear in the presence of a range of tones played, in order to assess each person's unique response to sound. A personal hearing profile is then created in the Denon PerL Headphone application to take full advantage of the sound reproduction offered by the 10 mm speakers, the same specimens as on the Denon PerL.

Denon PerL, active noise reduction and IPX4 certification

The PerL also benefit from active noise cancellation technology as well as a more transparent social mode so as not to be cut off from the environment. In terms of autonomy, we reach 8 hours of listening time for a total of 32 hours with the case. Also note, a quick charge of 5 minutes for 1 additional hour of reading and resistance to water and dust via IPX4 certification.
