Google Pixel 8 and Google 8 Pro, crazy on-board camera?

New details about the scented photo/video sensors on the next two Google smartphones which should be announced in September.

While they should probably be presented next October, the Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro smartphones continue to reveal themselves through rumours, this time concerning their photo module.

Google Pixel 8/8 Pro, Isocell GN2 sensor

According to leaker Kamila Wojciechowska (via Android Authority), the two models will drop the previous 50 Mpxls Samsung Isocell GN1 lens for an Isocell GN2, capturing 35% more light, and equipped with a higher shutter speed: either better low-light images and less blurring.

Google Pixel 8/8 Pro, Tensor G3 processor for 8K recording at 30fps?

The sensor could capture in Ultra HD 8K at 30fps, thanks in particular to the new Tensor G3 processor with these capabilities. But not sure if the option is enabled to prevent overheating (Pixel 7 temperature rises a lot during 4K UHD capture at 60 fps). The Isocell GN2 is also Staggered HDR compatible, to improve the quality of images on which the subject is moving.
