At the start of 2020, director Jean-Baptiste Thoret takes a small team with him on an extraordinary trip to the United States. Two months of filming which looks as much like a cinephilic pilgrimage as the continuity of a journey initiated ten years earlier alongside an immense filmmaker, a major figure in New Hollywood: Michael Cimino.

First stop: the small steel town of Mingo Junction (Ohio) which goes back in time through the priceless memories of its inhabitants during the filming in 1978 of Journey to the End of Hell (click to discover our review of JB Thoret, exactly).

Ciminian mirages and Thorian road-trip
