At the end of January, the "leaker" ShrimpApplePro, known for his often proven predictions, reported that the iPhone 15 Pro of the next school year would benefit from even thinner curved edges around the screen, compared to those of the iPhone 14 Pro. The appearance of these new models will thus be reminiscent of that of the Apple Watch Series 7 and 8.
Rumors of thinner curved edges for iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max
A rumor repeated at the end of February, and recently corroborated by leaked videos on the Chinese sites Bilibili and Douyin, relayed again by ShrimpApplePro and another trusted leaker, Unknownz21. The videos (see below) show screen layers that would be used in the manufacture of iPhones. Note that this change would only affect the Pro models, and that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus would retain the borders of yesteryear.
However, the four iPhone 15s would all have new slightly curved iPhone 11-style edges, and the Dynamic Island feature previously reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max would also come to the non-Pro iPhone 15s.
