Sony Pictures Entertainment has just announced and confirmed that the sequel to the Bad Boys film franchise, currently untitled, will be entitled to a fourth film directed by the duo of the third opus, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Falla (Bad Boys for Life), written by Chris Bremner, and again with Wills Smith and Martin Lawrence.

As a reminder, Bad Boys 3 had grossed $426 million at the box office worldwide for an initial budget of $90 million. It is the best result of one of the films of the franchise and the fourth best box office of 2020. Figures which make it possible to override the untimely slap of one of the two stars of feature films. In the video shot by Will Smith (below), the two actors look visibly over the moon.
