CES 23 > Hisense Cube C1 Trichroma Ultra HD 4K, mobile/gaming video projection

After our presentation of the Hisense 120LX 8K Laser TV, Hisense L5H and Hisense L9H TriChoma 4K Laser TVs, Hisense PL1 Cinema Laser, Hisense UX 4K UHD Mini LED TV series, Hisense U8K, Hisense U7K and Hisense U6K, continued and end of our presentation of new products from the Asian manufacturer at the CES show in Las Vegas 2023 with the portable Hisense Cube C1 Ultra HD 4K video projector.

In addition to these Laser TV and Laser Cinema PL1 models (see our Hisense PL1 Ultra HD 4K Laser Cinema news: ultra short focal length, Dolby Atmos, Vidaa U6, Alexa, etc.), the Chinese manufacturer plans to market a compact video projector in 2023 , easy to move and transport responding to the denomination Hisense Cube C1.

Hisense Cube C1 TriChroma or nomadic video projection

The Hisense Cube C1 has a “classic” focal length (no short or ultra-short focal length) combined with exclusive TriChroma technology. On the program, there is also the Smart TV Vidaa function, a new image processing announced by the manufacturer to be more efficient, particularly in terms of motion compensation MEMC (Motion Estimation/Motion Compensation). As a reminder, the name Trichroma reveals the presence of a tripe RGB laser source for excellent colorimetric accuracy.

For the rest, the Hisense Cube C1 benefits from HDR10 compatibility, a light peak of 1,350 lumens and 107% coverage of the Rec.2020 gamut (more or less what the human eye sees). For the rest, the Hisense TriChroma Hisense Cube C1 incorporates a TI DLP chip with a response time of 32 µs, which is 500 times faster than an LCD TV.

The DLP chip is based on a 0.47'' (1.19 cm) DMD matrix which has 2048 x 1200 pixels and of which a 1920 x 1080 pixel section is used to generate a Ultra HD 4K image through the Texas Instrument XPR4 (wobulation) process. As a reminder, the latter uses the hyper-high switching speed of the mirrors (7 microseconds) via specific video processing to create 8 million pixels for each image displayed (one real pixel ultimately gives four pixels). Precision, the Input Lag is announced at 12 ms and the maximum display frequency reaches 240 hertz.
