There is no doubt that hard-hitting and corrosive satire on luxury tourism is coming back in style, and a lot should happen in this new season.
The awesome Jennifer Coolidge returns
The creator of the series Mike White (Rock Academy), always in charge, leaves the beaches of Hawaii to fly away towards the magnificent landscapes of Taormina in Sicily. The only survivor of the cast of season 1, Jennifer Coolidge will make her big comeback in the role of Tanya, while the series will welcome a brand new cast with, among others, Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation), Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) and F Murray Abraham (Amadeus).
Fairy, really?
The official synopsis states: “The White Lotus of Taormina opens its doors to its new residents in a breathtaking setting. But under the apparent luster of this magical place, the little stories of the hotel occupants can quickly turn into huge problems. And the week will even be very long for some…”.
Season 2 of The White Lotus will land on October 31 on OCS with one episode per week.
