Citizen Kane, the first 4K Ultra HD from Criterion

For its first 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray edition, the famous publisher US Criterion is launching with the great, the only, the majestic Citizen Kane, which will be released next November.

A title far from being chosen at random since this year we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first edition of Orson Welles' film, already published by Criterion in laserdisc in 1992.

4K in series, Criterion validates the format

The same month, Criterion will also publish in 4K UHD Mulholland Drive by David Lynch, The Red Slippers by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, The Piano Lesson by Jane Campion, Menace II Society by Allen and Albert Hughes, and finally A Hard Day's Night by Richard Lester.

All of these 4K editions will be accompanied by a classic Blu-Ray edition and offered in HDR Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
