Onkyo and Pioneer, back in stores in the fall

The saga of the availability of Onkyo and Pioneer products should end in a few months, this is the promise of the press release published yesterday by the American company Premium Audio Company, owner of the Onkyo brand and the licensing rights and distribution of Pioneer.

After many episodes (see our news Takeover Onkyo by Voxx International and Sharp, it's done! and Onkyo Home Entertainment filed for bankruptcy, but the audio-video products are not threatened), the destiny of the Onkyo brands and Pioneer should resume a trajectory consistent with their history and place within the global audio-video industry.

Onkyo/Pioneer amplifiers in stores this Christmas…

The Premium Audio Company officially took the floor yesterday, July 12, to inform the market (distributors, resellers and consumers) that Onkyo and Pioneer branded products, as well as Integra (Onkyo's premium brand) will be new available from autumn 2022. In concrete terms, this means that it won't be long before you find Onkyo, Integra and Pioneer amplifiers on store shelves. Ditto for most of the other equipment previously offered by these brands: headphones, network player... Who knows, Santa's hood could be a little heavier this year.

A word from Paul Jacobs, President of Premium Audio Company

Paul Jacobs, President and CEO of Premium Audio Company, said, “Demand for Onkyo, Integra and Pioneer products has been very strong, and we believe that it will intensify in the years to come. We have worked closely with Sharp to increase production and have already grown our business significantly since completing the acquisition. We have big plans for Onkyo and the other brands, and as we expand production and expand distribution, we expect sales to more than double in the near term.”
