Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500M II and RP-600M II, acoustic package
Technically, the Klipsch Reference Premiere 2022 speakers incorporate all of the brand's audio DNA, starting with a 90° x 90° Tractrix horn with wide distribution and in edge-to-edge configuration (the horn occupies the entire width speaker) for sound dispersion but also maximum precision and clarity.
This horn is combined with a vented titanium LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) tweeter for minimum distortion. Similarly, the new woofers benefit from the Klipsch Cerametallic process (thin sprayed copper layer) and a new voice coil with a 70% larger diameter offering increased control of the cones for perfect linearity.
In the end, the mobile assembly further improves the reproduction of the base frequencies. We can also mention the presence of aluminum rings, always with a view to reducing distortion as much as possible.
Last details, the Klipsch Reference Premiere 2022 speakers feature magnetic grilles, a scratch-resistant wood-effect vinyl finish and metal-colored screws, and Klipsch's trademark copper-colored cones. Finally, bookshelf speakers, the Klipsch RP-500M II and Klipsch RP-600M II can of course be used as main (front) or surround speakers.
