Klipsch Reference Base 2022 series, focus on the R-50C and R-30C center speakers

After our spotlight a few days ago, through our news, on the column and surround models of the new Klipsch Reference Base series of speakers, it's time today for the R-30C and R-50C powerhouses.

There are therefore two center speakers in the Reference Base 2022 series, namely the Klipsch R-30C and Klipsch R-50C references.

Klipsch R-30C and Klipsch R-50C, acoustic package

Technically, these Klipsch Reference speakers incorporate all of the brand's audio DNA, starting with a 90° x 90° Tractrix horn with wide distribution for maximum precision and clarity, here combined with an LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) with Kapton suspension. This offers minimum distortion.

Similarly, the woofer benefits from the Klipsch TCP (Thermoformed Crystalline Polymer) process with a revised cone geometry for the 2022 vintage (see photo below). The polymer material combines rigidity and lightness for an even more impactful rendering of low frequencies. To come back to the cones of these loudspeakers, they benefit from an accentuated hollow shape and thus approach the profile of the loudspeakers of the Klipsch Reference Premiere speakers (presentation to come). Precision, the Klipsch R-30C adopts a closed charge configuration while the Klipsch R-50C is charged in bass-reflex.

Last details, the Klipsch Reference Base 2022 speakers feature magnetic grilles, a scratch-resistant wood-effect vinyl finish and metal-colored screws, and Klipsch's trademark copper-colored cones.

Immediate availability. Indicative prices: €299 for the Klipsch R-50C speaker and €399 for the Klipsch R-30C speaker.
