The Snapdragon YouTube channel has published a short video showing the capabilities of its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, the first capable of giving smartphones the ability to shoot videos in 8K Ultra HD definition with HDR processing (at 30 frames / second) .

It is the Xiaomi 12 smartphone that inaugurates the processor, supported by a 33 Mpxls Sony IMX586 sensor. The video shows some beautiful US coastlines shot in Oregon, Washington and California. You must of course be equipped with an 8K UHD screen to enjoy it, and don't forget to activate the 8K parameter in the YouTube options (otherwise it's 4K by default).
