Apple recently reported record first quarter revenue and earnings, driven primarily by the iPhone.
iPhone, the only smartphone whose sales are growing in 2022
Not surprising, when we learn that the iPhone is the only smartphone to experience positive sales growth between 2021 and 2022. Indeed, several research firms -Strategy Analytics, Canalys and IDC- agree to say that Apple is the only brand to experience an increase in its distribution between the first quarter of 2021 and the same period in 2022. Thus, Canalys announces 8% more distribution for the iPhone, while Samsung is experiencing a 4% drop over this period, and Oppo and Vivo fall by 29% and 30% respectively. Source: macrumors
