"Capturing the little things, big" was the title of the iPhone Macro Challenge 2022 competition reserved for users of the iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max whose new macro photography capabilities allow an unprecedented distance to focus minimum of 2 centimeters.
Tens of thousands of entrants and jury deliberation later (including a National Geographic photographer, the co-founder of commercial photography company The House of Pixels, and creative Apple employees), here are the works of the ten winners who knew, it is true, to highlight the infinitely invisible, the details of everyday life, but also nuances of color that we no longer take the time to really see.
In addition to the pleasure of appearing on our pages, the winners were highlighted on the Apple site, on the Apple Instagram account, and even on XXL size billboards in certain cities around the world, as we can see quite regularly, captioned like “This photo was taken with an iPhone XX…”.
