LG SPD7: 3.1.2 design soundbar, 380 W, Bluetooth and HDMI 2.1

After the presentation of the LG SP11RA, LG SP2 and LG SP7 sound bars, we continue our roundup of the Korean manufacturer's 2021 range with the LG SPD7, the most affordable of the Dolby Atmos / DTS: X sound bars.

3.1.2 audio system, the LG SPD7 comes in the form of a classic soundbar design accompanied by a wireless subwoofer. Hi-Res Audio Certification

Its dimensions (890 mm in length) make it suitable for televisions 49 '(124 m) and larger. Technically, the soundbar has five speakers and Class D amplification delivers a total power, including the subwoofer, of 380 watts. Hi-Res Audio certification is required up to 96 kHz / 24 bit.

AI Sound Pro function

The AI Sound Pro function directly from the brand's televisions is present. This means that the adjustments made in real time by the TV according to the nature of the signal are transmitted to the sound bar for an even magnified sound reproduction. Namely, the LG SPD7 also embeds the exclusive Meridian Horizon technology capable of converting a stereo signal into a multichannel.

Bluetooth and connectivity compatibility

The LG SPD7 integrates Dolby Atmos / DTS: X decoders: Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility to enjoy audio content from a suitable device (smartphone, tablet, computer, etc.). Finally, the connection has an HDMI CEC 2.1 input / output (ARC) HDCP 2.3 certified to take advantage of signals from a 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray player or from a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S / X game console, an input optical plus a USB Host port.
