In addition to the new Galaxy S22 smartphones, Samsung took advantage of its recent Unpacked presentation to announce a new range of tablets, the Galaxy Tab S8. Previously limited to two models, it now welcomes an Ultra version with high-end features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8/S8+/S8 Ultra, common specifications
The three Galaxy Tab S8 are equipped with a new processor engraved in 4 nm and offer autonomy of up to 15 hours in video playback. The screens (11'' LCD on the S8, 14.6'' Oled on the S8+), benefit from a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the aluminum coating makes the tablets 33% more resistant to shocks and scratches than the Galaxy Tab S7.
Also noteworthy are four AKG speakers associated with Dolby Atmos compatibility, an expandable storage capacity of up to 1 TB via micro-SD card, Wi-Fi 6E compatibility, 45 W fast charging allowing you to 'reach 100% in just 80 minutes, and finally the ability to charge other compatible Galaxy devices via USB-C cable.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra model is distinguished by the largest screen ever on a Samsung tablet, a 14.6'' (37 cm) Super Amoled screen surrounded by very thin borders (6.3 mm). Also note two 12 Mpxls front cameras - wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle -, three active noise reduction microphones, and up to 16 GB of Ram memory and 512 GB of storage for the Tab S8 Ultra. Of course, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 are available in Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi/5G.
