Rumors and patents reported over the years by us show that Apple is secretly working on a foldable screen iPhone. Leaker Dylandkt adds a stone to the building by specifying that the company is working on multiple prototypes, not yet sure which model would be best for users.

Also according to the leaker, Apple thinks that there are still too many "compromises" to be made with this technology and has doubts about the foldable smartphone market in general. Thus, Apple wonders if the foldable screen smartphone segment will really find its place in the market, if it will remain a "commercial niche", or if it will simply disappear.
Clearly, Apple intends to watch the market carefully (again) rather than develop and release a product with a limited lifespan, unable to generate multi-year iterations.
