The range of Soundlink Bluetooth speakers from Bose is enriched with a new reference: the Soundlink Flex. With its reduced dimensions, 9.1 x 20 x 5.3 cm for just over 450 g, it can be easily taken everywhere with you. As such, it has a wrist strap. Equipped with the proprietary Bose PositionlQ technology which detects the orientation of the speaker, whether it is placed on the edge, flat or hung, the Bose SoundLink Flex always adapts the sound reproduction perfectly.
Bose SoundLink Flex, IP67 certification
Audio quality is ensured by a 60mm full-range loudspeaker, plus two face-to-face passive radiators that enhance the impact of low frequencies. A DSP is present to, via adequate digital processing of the signal, reduce distortion. The IP67 certification guarantees the waterproofness and resistance to dust of the enclosure, which can even float if it accidentally falls into a swimming pool or bathtub. An on-board microphone allows the Bose SoundLink Flex to be used hands-free for calls.
Bose SoundLink Flex, autonomy and Bose Connect
In terms of autonomy, the Bose Soundlink Flex displays 12 hours and recharging is carried out via a USB-C port. Good point, it can memorize up to eight connections to switch seamlessly from one device to another. Finally, there is the possibility of pairing a second Bose Soundlink Flex or another Bose Bluetooth speaker compatible with Bose Connect to configure a real stereo system. The latter also offers Party mode: both speakers play the same audio signal simultaneously. Likewise, the Bose SimpleSync function allows the association of the Bose SoundLink Flex within a set of Bose connected speakers or soundbars to form a multiroom audio system.
