Still rumored, Apple's augmented reality (AR) headset already inherits a successor, materialized in the form of another rumor.
Lightweight AR / VR headset
The latter is signed by the essential Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via macrumors), who indicates that this second generation will be lighter, equipped with a more powerful battery and a faster processor. This second device is expected for the end of the year 2024, while the first version would arrive for its part at the end of 2022. Regarding this first version, Kuo indicates that it should weigh between 300 g and 400 g and can pass without transition from AR to VR (virtual reality) to offer a new experience.
