Amazon Prime Video now on Mac

The Amazon Prime Video app is coming native to Apple Mac computers.

After Android TV devices, Apple TV, FireTV, Smart TV, Roku, and gaming consoles, the Amazon Prime Video app is coming to Mac computers. It allows subscribers to access the catalog of video content, as well as the purchase and rental of certain films. Also note the compatibility with picture in picture mode, AirPlay transmission and downloads.

From macOS Big Sur

The native macOS application is downloadable from the App Store, it works on Intel-based Macs as well as recent M1s, with the macOS Big Sur operating system or higher. Payments are made from your Amazon account or through Apple's in-app purchases system.

Note that some movies are listed as available in Ultra HD, but the FlatpanelsHD site only managed to display a maximum of 1080p on a 2019 Intel 5K iMac.
