After Amazon Music, Spotify and Tidal, a new music platform is coming to LG Smart TVs, starting with models with WebOS 4.0: Apple Music.

On this additional service, subscribers can listen to their music (catalog of 90 million songs), watch clips offered in Ultra HD 4K definition or even enjoy more than 30,000 playlists created by music experts. Namely, as for the recent availability of the Apple TV + application (see our news Apple TV + free 3 months on LG Oled / LCD TVs from 2016 to 2021), the Apple Music subscription on LG Smart TV is free for all three first months.
Dolby Atmos and Lossless to absent subscribers?
The application is downloadable from the LG content store and its interface is very similar to the one already available on Apple TV and Samsung Smart TVs. Note, however, that Apple Music on LG Smart TVs does not appear to be Dolby Atmos compatible or in Lossless quality (we haven't been able to verify yet).
