As you may have noticed at first glance, this bracelet designed by the manufacturer MXU seems to have a slight problem. Indeed, instead of the traditional straight lines perpendicular to the case, the lugs are here deliberately inclined at a 30-degree angle.
An inclination designed for ergonomics
The goal of the maneuver is simple: to position the watch screen perfectly straight in the axis of your vision, without forcing you to bend your elbow and wrist excessively, as one inevitably does with a “normal” bracelet. To better understand, simply try to look at the time with your own watch; you then feel a slight joint twist, like a small discomfort. The trade-off of asymmetrical design The price to pay to eliminate these daily traumatic movements lies in a design that is inevitably asymmetrical, moving away from the very symmetrical and streamlined aesthetic standards cherished by Apple. Namely, this 30° angle works optimally if you wear your watch on your left wrist.
