Tom Holland thus surpasses his Avengers: Endgame co-star, Zoe Saldana, whose appearances in the Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Trek franchises, as well as in hits like the first Pirates of the Caribbean, had helped bring the total to $15.468 billion. Saldana had taken the record earlier this year by dethroning Scarlett Johansson, another figure from the Marvel universe, whose films total $15.401 billion.
Staggering figures
Among the other MCU regulars featured at the top of the ranking, Samuel L. Jackson reaches $14.6 billion, Robert Downey Jr. $14.3 billion and Chris Pratt $14.1 billion. Spider-Man: Brand New Day also added $27.4 million worldwide this weekend, bringing its total to $2.452 billion. In North America, the film grossed an additional $8.5 million and is expected soon to surpass Star Wars: The Force Awakens to become the biggest box-office hit of all time domestically.

For its part, The Odyssey added $34.4 million to its worldwide tally this weekend and now stands at $1.68 billion. It is, by a very wide margin, Tom Holland's biggest non-Marvel hit, ahead of Uncharted with $407 million, Doctor Dolittle with $251 million and The Impossible, at $198 million.
Tom Holland and Zendaya are taking Hollywood by storm
As for Zendaya, the numbers are also staggering. Between Spider-Man, Dune, The Odyssey, Challengers and her other films, her filmography now totals around $10.3 billion in worldwide box office revenue. On paper, the careers of the two fiancés therefore represent nearly $25.8 billion at the box office. Admittedly, part of this sum comes from the same films, but it is hard to find today in Hollywood a couple with such commercial firepower.
