iPhone Ultra: Apple's 3rd generation foldable smartphone already in development for 2028

With the unveiling of Apple's first-ever foldable smartphone imminent, the Cupertino-based company is already thinking ahead. Without even gauging the commercial success of this inaugural model, the Californian manufacturer has reportedly already laid out an ambitious production schedule for the next two generations, planned for 2027 and 2028 respectively.
Next September, Apple is expected to announce with great fanfare the iPhone Ultra, its very first foldable screen smartphone model. And even before waiting to see how the general public reacts to this new product, the company is already actively preparing the successors to this device. iPhone Ultra 3: Plans Confirmed Until 2028. While we already knew that Apple was working behind the scenes on a second iteration, the very well-informed journalist Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports that Apple's plans extend at least until 2028, the scheduled release year of the iPhone Ultra 3.
