Apple TV 4K: Apple Intelligence, Siri AI and a new remote are on the agenda

After multiple delays, the Cupertino company is finally preparing to refresh its famous multimedia box. Closely linked to the rollout of Apple Intelligence and its new AI-powered assistant, the next iteration of the Apple TV 4K is expected to be released by the end of the year. This major hardware overhaul requires unprecedented computing power for the living room, but its launch could be hampered by European market regulations.
In addition to a host of improvements thanks to tvOS 27, the Apple TV family should welcome a newcomer by the end of the year, a model that has been anticipated for some time. New Apple TV 4K: the end of delays for the arrival of AI. Indeed, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has been announcing this new version since 2024, but it has been delayed each time because the Siri AI assistant wasn't ready. But this time it's for real, with Siri AI on its way for the fall, the Apple TV 4K enhanced with Apple Intelligence is coming, that's a promise. New Apple TV 4K: A17 Pro chip, AV1 codec and HomePod Mini. Gurman states that this device, as well as a new HomePod Mini speaker, are in advanced testing. To run Apple Intelligence, the Apple TV 4K will be equipped with a more advanced processor, at least the A17 Pro from the iPhone 15 Pro, which also allows decoding of the AV1 compression codec. A new remote control should also be included. New Apple TV 4K: Question Mark for the European Market. Note, however, that Siri AI is still banned in Europe, and the release of this Apple TV 4K here could therefore be affected.
