New Apple Vision Pro: release delayed to 2028 or 2029?

Despite the failure of the first Apple Vision Pro and a redeployment of internal resources by the Cupertino company towards the AI glasses sector, Apple is not abandoning the mixed reality headset market.
Even though Apple's teams are focusing on the smart glasses arriving next year, the development of a successor to the Apple Vision Pro headset hasn't been abandoned. A launch pushed back to 2028 or 2029 with a crucial price drop. This is according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who specifies, however, that the device won't arrive before 2028 or 2029, and that its price will have to be well below the $4,000 of the initial product if Apple wants to achieve mainstream success (otherwise, doctors love it). A true Vision Pro 2 rather than an Air model. Gurman adds that it will indeed be a new Apple Vision Pro, and not a cheaper version mentioned some time ago under the name Apple Vision Air, which was itself canceled last year.
