Available in three distinct designs called Buds, Beam, and Flex, the 2026 range integrates the JBL Smart OS 3.0 system within a completely redesigned Smart Charging Case.

Without needing to use a smartphone, it's now possible to control your entire audio environment directly from the carrying case's touchscreen, which has been enlarged and made more responsive for this 2026 model. Smart Charging Case: What's New for the JBL Touchscreen? The major innovation lies in the evolution of the Smart Charging Case, which has gained in performance. Equipped with a larger screen, it features the brand-new JBL Smart OS 3.0 user interface. With a simple swipe up, down, or sideways, the user can access notifications, manage music navigation, or adjust the equalizer. The most common features can be pinned to the home screen, whose wallpaper remains customizable with your own photos or new backgrounds. Active noise cancellation: how does True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 work? The active noise cancellation system takes a leap forward with the deployment of the True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 algorithm. Combined with a set of four microphones (two per earbud), this system adapts the attenuation in real time according to external noise levels so you can enjoy music and calls without interruption. The technologies also integrate the Smart Talk function to facilitate transitions to Transparency mode during conversations. Call quality on the go: 6-Mic Perfect Call 2.0 technology with AI. For voice capture, JBL deploys 6-Mic Perfect Call 2.0 technology, which, as its name suggests, is built around six microphones (three per earbud). Processing relies on a physical structure optimized against wind noise and an algorithm trained by artificial intelligence. This synergy isolates the user's voice to ensure clear calls and is complemented by a dedicated call equalizer and a volume optimizer.
Buds, Beam, and Flex formats: how to choose the design of your JBL earphones? To accommodate different ear shapes and individual preferences, the range is divided into three distinct formats. The Live Buds 4 model (on the right in the photo below) is a traditional compact in-ear design, while the Live Beam 4 (on the left in the photo below) adopts an in-ear stem design, both equipped with isolating silicone ear tips. Conversely, the Live Flex 4 features a semi-open stem design that rests in the outer ear without a silicone tip for a more airy fit. What is the battery life and wireless charging options? Overall battery life varies depending on the design and whether or not noise cancellation is enabled.
