iPhone 17 Pro, charging champion

Among around thirty smartphones tested, the iPhone 17 Pro came out on top in terms of battery charging speed, with the best average between wired and wireless charging.
The iPhone 17 range has certainly earned its unprecedented commercial success, as evidenced by a recent test conducted by the CNET lab, which compared 33 smartphone models in terms of charging speed. The test placed the iPhone 17 Pro at the top in the combined wired and wireless charging average. The iPhone 17 Pro was thus named the fastest smartphone overall, across all charging methods, wired and wireless, although the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra holds the title for wired charging alone. For this test, CNET charged all models for 30 minutes, both wired and wirelessly, observing the battery percentage after this time. An average was calculated between the two charging methods to evaluate each device. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra remains the king of wired charging. The iPhone 17 Pro achieves the fastest wireless charging speed, reaching 55% in 30 minutes, followed by the iPhone 17 Pro Max (53%), the iPhone Air (49%), and the Galaxy S26 Ultra (39%). For wired charging, as mentioned above, the Galaxy S26 Ultra takes the lead with 76% in 30 minutes, followed by the iPhone 17 Pro with 74%.
