iPhone Air 2, first glimpse of the future ultra-thin iPhone expected in 2027

A short 3D video rendering of the successor to Apple's thinnest smartphone ever, the iPhone Air, based on the latest rumors.
While the iPhone Air released last fall impressed with its design, only 5.6 mm thick, it has already whetted our appetite for a second version. Dual 48 MP camera, two speakers, and an improved battery: the expected improvements. Indeed, as a first-generation model, the iPhone Air is imperfect in several respects, notably its poor single-lens camera module, not to mention a single speaker for audio playback. A bit harsh for a device selling for at least €1,229. But the latest rumors suggest two speakers plus a dual 48 MP camera for the iPhone Air 2, presumably with a standard lens and a wide-angle lens, since a telephoto lens would likely increase the device's thickness, a bit of a shame for an iPhone whose main selling point is its slimness. Other rumored features include a significantly improved battery life. The second iPhone Air is expected to be released in spring 2027, alongside the standard iPhone 18 and the lower-priced iPhone 18e.
