Apple begins test production phase of the foldable iPhone Ultra

The very first iPhone with a foldable screen is reportedly already on the production lines for a test phase.
According to the Chinese leaker Instant Digital, the very first foldable iPhone—or iPhone Ultra—has entered its test production phase. iPhone Ultra: Images or videos of Apple's foldable smartphone coming soon. During this stage, devices are produced in small quantities to test the assembly process and ensure its viability on a large scale. The fact that this stage has begun for the iPhone Ultra shows that its technical specifications are finalized and that the device is on track to meet its production deadlines, with an estimated release in December 2026. Furthermore, this phase means that iPhone Ultras will end up in the hands of a select group of engineers and testers at Apple, potentially leading to leaks of images or even videos of the device in action.
