TCL TV with Google TV: Android 14, HDMI 2.1 QMS and DTS:X Imax Enhanced are coming

TCL is preparing an imminent update for its 2024/2025 TV models compatible with Google TV and equipped with the MediaTek Pentonic 700 chip (C805, C845, C855, C6K, C7K, C8K, NxtVision), starting with the upgrade from Android 12 to Android 14. However, contrary to what was initially announced, the Gemini update for 2025 TCL TVs is no longer planned. It will only arrive on two TCL 2026 premium series next summer.
