The new Siri isn't quite there yet…

Eagerly awaited after numerous delays, the new Siri assistant, powered by Apple Intelligence, is once again stumbling.
The new, smarter Siri assistant, integrated with Apple Intelligence, was announced at WWDC in June 2024 but has since been delayed several times, suggesting that the announcement was likely rushed in response to the surprise success of ChatGPT-style intelligent agents. A new, smarter Siri, a delayed launch… But it's promised: it will arrive on iPhones in March with the new iOS 26.4 update. However, despite recent encouraging announcements, Apple is still encountering difficulties finalizing its intelligent agent. According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the planned new features won't arrive all at once, but will be rolled out gradually over several updates, until May (iOS 26.5) or even September (iOS 27). A new, smarter Siri, "unexpected" problems have arisen. These include "unexpected" issues such as slow access and a lack of precision in some responses. As a reminder, this improved version of Siri should adapt more personally to the user, better understanding their context of use and taking into account the information displayed on the screen as well as their personal data.
