Teufel presents its new Cinebar 22 soundbar, compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
The Cinebar 22 soundbar from German manufacturer Teufel is available in two configurations: 5.1 or 7.1. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X compatibility are virtual, as they utilize binaural synthesis (sound reflections off walls and ceilings) to recreate 3D height channels without dedicated up-firing speakers. In the 5.1 configuration, the soundbar features eight speakers, including two 50mm side-firing full-range drivers that use binaural synthesis to exploit room reflections and create the impression of sound coming from above and around the room. Also found on the front is a coaxial-type center tweeter-midrange (25 mm, 100 mm) plus two racetrack speakers (elliptical shape) associated with two 25 mm tweeters for the right and left channels. The soundbar comes with a Teufel T6 wireless subwoofer (16.5 cm woofer) that can be placed vertically or horizontally, under a piece of furniture for example (see photo below), or the Teufel T10 (25 cm driver) in its Power Edition version to deliver 5.1 surround sound that easily fills a room up to 35 square meters. The Teufel Cinema 22 system is also available in a 7.1 configuration by adding a pair of Surround Effekt 2 speakers, each equipped with a 19 mm tweeter. Also worth mentioning is the Dynamore audio mode for widening the soundstage, a useful feature for gaming, watching TV shows, or listening to music. Control is via the touchscreen display (with adjustable brightness) on the front of the soundbar or the remote control. Teufel Cinema 22, Connectivity and Connectivity: In terms of connectors, there is an HDMI eARC 2.1 output (Pass-Through, Ultra HD, 4K/60, HDR Dolby Vision, 3D Ready, CEC), an HDMI input, an optical input, a 3.5 mm mini-jack auxiliary input, and a USB 2.0 port. Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility is also included. Final details: an equalizer is included, as are Night/Voice modes, and wall mounting is integrated. Available in black or white.
