Foldable iPhone, immediate stock shortage?

Production difficulties could reduce the volume of the first foldable iPhone, scheduled for release in late 2026.
The very first foldable iPhone is expected to be released in the fall of 2026, but there won't be enough for everyone. At least not at launch, according to the latest leaks revealed by Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Foldable iPhone production: a difficult start to overcome… Indeed, the development of this new model is reportedly still behind schedule. And since Apple still intends to unveil it in the second half of 2026, the launch is likely to be limited. The reason? Problems with initial production yields and difficulties in increasing production volume. In practical terms, few units will be available for sale, and given the anticipated high demand, stock shortages will be frequent. At least until the end of the year, Kuo specifies.
