The iPhone Air is thus a unique product (as evidenced by its distinctive design) whose iterations will be released whenever Apple sees fit. This is a perfectly logical policy that could have been anticipated from the device's launch, since it was the only one not to include the number "17" in its name, unlike its counterparts the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and Pro Max, which were released at the same time.
