The Ult Tower 9 and Ult Tower 9AC speakers from Sony's Ult Power Sound range are massive party speakers. Like all the other speakers in the Ult Power Sound range, they have an Ult button that allows you to magnify the bass in two available modes: Deep Bass to add depth to the low frequencies, Attack Bass to amplify the energy.

The two models are mainly distinguished by their power supply: the Tower 9 runs on battery power with a battery life of up to 25 hours, while the Tower 9AC plugs into the mains. Less mobile therefore, but offering more powerful sound pressure. They both have four tweeters (40 mm at the rear, 50 mm at the front) for clear sound both at the front and at the rear of the speaker, with two midrange drivers (120 mm) for vocal clarity, not to mention a 320 millimeter woofer. Namely, a handle and wheels are present to easily move the Sony Ult Tower 9 and Sony Ult Tower 9AC speakers.

In addition to the sound, with the 360° Party Light function, the Sony Ult Tower 9 and Sony Ult Tower 9AC speakers pulse light synchronized with the music. Also for the party, the karaoke microphone input and the guitar input, the speaker then acting as an amp. Sony's Party Connect mode is also available, as is the ability to connect and sync up to 100 compatible speakers (in this case, the lights pulsing from the speakers are also synchronized). Also of note is the TV Sound Booster mode designed to handle the sound of a TV, like a classic soundbar.

Finally, note that Sony is collaborating with the artist Post Malone for the launch of this new Ult Power Sound series, as part of the audio brand campaign For The Music.
