The new Star Wars trilogy with slightly offbeat Daisy Ridley

The start of filming for the new Star Wars trilogy with Daisy Ridley, written by Steven Knight, the screenwriter of Peaky Blinders, is delayed.

According to a well-informed source, the author of the cult series Peaky Blinders, Steven Knight, is finalizing the latest version of the script for a Star Wars feature film. Lucasfilm producers should even be able to read it before Christmas.

Just before the writers' strike broke out, filming was planned in London for next April. Today, the start of shooting is envisaged, at best, in August/September 2024.

No official title yet

As for the rumor about the title Star Wars: a New Beginning, it has been denied by Lucasfilm, which says it has not yet decided on a title for the first film in this new trilogy. The film should take place fifteen years after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, still with the character of Rey played by Daisy Ridley, who attempts to create a new Jedi Order.

Among all other projects in the Star Wars films and series, this should be the film with the most advanced point of view in the entire timeline of the Star Wars universe. This first film in the new trilogy starring Daisy Ridley is to be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Source: Starwarsnewsnet
