Apple bets on the iPhone 15 Pro Max

Of the four iPhone 15s that have just been announced, Apple will produce the most premium version as a priority.

According to Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 15 Pro Max would represent 35% to 40% - or a majority - of the volume of the four iPhone 15s which will be launched on September 22. Incidentally, this proportion will be 10% to 20% higher than that of the equivalent model last year, the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Periscopic photo sensor, the lethal weapon of the iPhone 15 Pro Max

If Apple expects a big demand for this model, it is in particular thanks to the new periscope photo sensor, exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This sensor will allow an even more powerful optical zoom, 5x instead of the current 3x. We will have to wait for the iPhone 16 range to see the periscope arrive on the smallest Pro model. Still according to Kuo, this sensor costs three to four times more than a traditional high-end lens.
