Charging even faster on iPhone 15?

With the switch to USB-C, some of the new back-to-school iPhone 15s could benefit from increased charging speeds.

According to industry sources on the 9to5mac site, some of the iPhone 15s (probably the Pro versions) would benefit from a battery recharge speed of up to 35 W, in particular thanks to the transition to the USB standard -VS. For comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro are limited to 27 W, and the iPhone 14 to 20 watts.

iPhone 15 charging speed on the rise?

Last year, Apple released a 35W charger capable of charging current iPhones at full speed. The iPhone 15 affected by the possible change mentioned above would thus fully benefit from the capacities of this charger. Note that the current Samsung Galaxy S23 already reach a speed of 45 W, allowing to go from 0% to 100% in less than an hour. iPhones wouldn't be there yet, but it's nice to see that this specification would still be improved over previous models.
