Brad Pitt at Silverstone for his next film Apex in the world of F1

This weekend, as you may have seen live, Brad Pitt was at the British Formula 1 Grand Prix to shoot the first scenes for his next film.

The film, which does not yet have an official title but which could be called Apex, has just been purchased by Apple. The comedian/producer would work closely with former F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton. All under the leadership of director Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick).

Lewis Hamilton involved in the project

The comedian, who would have had unlimited access to the circuit and would have taken to the track for a peak at 150 miles per hour, would have even joined the official pre-race meeting of the drivers. Lewis Hamilton said, "Probably the most outstanding pilot briefing we've ever had."

Brad Pitt very excited

Asked about the plot of the film, Brad Pitt confided: “I play a guy who raced in the 1990s and who, following a horrible accident, left F1 to compete in other disciplines. His friend, played by Javier Bardem, the owner of the team, will contact him because his foals are the last on the grid. They have no points scored. But they have a young phenomenon in the team, played by Damson Idris, who I will take under my wing. In any case, you will never have seen the speed filmed like that, you have never seen the power of the G like that, the images are really, really exciting”. We can't wait!
