Sony WH-CH720N, circumaural Bluetooth 5.2 headphones

Sony is launching a new lightweight wireless headset with onion noise reduction technology.

Wireless headphones in circumaural format, the Sony WH-CH720N is equipped with an active noise reduction system based on the Sony V1 processor (borrowed from the acclaimed WH-1000XM5) coupled with two microphones in each headset, allowing to capture more external noises to better cancel them.

The Sony Headphones Connect application allows, among other things, to control the Ambient Sound mode to adjust the noise reduction to 20 different levels. On the sound side, the headphones use Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) technology, a system that uses artificial intelligence to adapt the audio frequency and signal rate in real time for consistently optimized sound quality, allowing audio CD rendering ( 44.1kHz/16bit).
