Driving license in iPhone and Apple Watch

At the request "Your papers please" you can one day simply present your smartphone or connected watch.

Apple recently announced the two states - Arizona and Georgia - in which it will be possible to present your driver's license to the authorities in digital form, on the iPhone or Apple Watch.

New Poetefuille application in iOS 15

This feature will then be deployed in Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Utah. The ability to scan your driver's license or ID card in the Wallet app will arrive in the new iOS 15 which will be released before the end of the year. For the moment, only a selection of airports in these states will participate in this novelty, but Apple is already discussing with several interlocutors so that the functionality extends to all of America. And maybe one day in the rest of the world?
