iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro: the differences

The details that will differentiate the iPhone 14 duo from the iPhone 14 Pro duo are becoming clearer as the rumors pile up.

The latest newsletter from Bloomberg leaker Mark Gurman (via MacRumors) confirms key features that should set the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max apart from the high-end iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max versions.

iPhone 14 Pro very different from iPhone 14

He tells us that the new 48 Mpxls wide-angle sensor will be exclusive to the Pro models, while the standard models will be equipped with the 12 Mpxls model already present on the iPhone 13. The new A16 chip will also be reserved for the Pro versions , non-Pros keeping the A15 processor (or a variation of it) from the iPhone 13. Note that the shortage of electronic components would have contributed to this decision.

iPhone 14, heading for the big screens

Gurman adds that the new iPhone 14 Max (which replaces the iPhone 13 mini) and its 6.7'' screen should be displayed $200 cheaper than the only current 6.7'' iPhone, the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Finally, we learn that the satellite connection - initially expected on iPhone 13 - will arrive on the iPhone 14. This feature makes it possible to contact emergency services even when there is no network.
