Later (After), the eponymous novel by Stephen King, will become a series

In the series "What would we do without Stephen King?" we ask Later. Stephen King's novel, translated into French by Après, will become a series with Lucy Liu, produced by Blumhouse Television.

According to Deadline, Blumhouse Television will produce an adaptation of Stephen King's novel. The production company, which needs no introduction, entrusted its adaptation to Raelle Tucker (True Blood) and the leading role to Lucy Liu (Ally McBeal).

The killer from beyond

The novel features Jamie, a young boy raised alone by his mother who has the ability to speak with the dead. A gift that his mother does everything to keep secret. But the cost of his talent is far greater than Jamie can imagine, he finds out when a New York City PD detective convinces him to hunt down a killer who threatened to strike from beyond.
