Hollywood set to resurrect cult series Six Feet Under

According to Variety magazine, the sequel or reboot of Six Feet Under, Alan Ball's cult series, is in the works in Hollywood.

Hollywood is said to be set to resurrect the cult series Six Feet Under. Broadcast between 2001 and 2005 on HBO (in France, the series was broadcast on Canal + and France Télévisions), Six Feet Under features the Fisher family, at the head of a funeral director in Los Angeles.

The best finale ever

Magnificent casting (Peter Krause, Michael C. Hall, Frances Conroy, Lauren Ambrose, Freddy Rodriguez, Mathew St. Patrick, Rachel Griffiths and Jeremy Sisto), complex characters, dramatic family history, taboo subject particularly well exploited…, the series has become cult thanks to all these qualities but also and above all thanks to its finale, one of the best ever written and produced in the history of the series.

Why a reboot? A suite ? For the moment, the project is only in its infancy. Alan Ball, creator of the series, and then producers Bob Greenblatt and David Janollaris, would be involved in the project. To be continued.
